Our Work
Every week, we provide online English lessons to children from rural areas. Our program has two main emphases:
Long term service
Unlike many volunteering programs that last for a few days or weeks during school breaks, we ensure to provide service throughout the entire school year. We believe the key to real impact (especially in terms of learning a language) is continuous guidance and stimulation.
One-on-one sessions
We provide one-on-one lessons, with the same volunteer teaching the same child every week. This is the best way for our volunteers and children to form invaluable bonds and connections that foster the most effective learning. We also want to make sure each child receives the attention and customized support they need.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide children from rural areas with more opportunities to strive for a better future. We hope to achieve that through three main goals:
Advancing English skills
Sparking interests in learning
Providing care and companionship
Our Impact
We currently serve rural villages and towns all over Taiwan, including schools and social welfare institutions.
